Aegis Defense Suite Development Tracker

This page is an honest, up-to-date look at where Aegis Defense Suite stands. It shows what's already built and tested, what we're actively working on right now, and what's coming next before public release. No vapor, no hype — just the real state of the build.

Current Development Progress

Active Build
Stage 10 | Next Phase

Public Beta & One-Click Installer

Packaging the finished suite into a single, signed, one-click installer and opening it up to a wider group of beta testers so we can gather real-world feedback before a full public launch.

Stage 9 | Current Focus (June 2026)

Code Signing & Final Stability Testing

Securing verified digital signatures for the application so modern Windows recognizes Aegis as trusted software and lets it run at the system level without security pop-ups getting in the way. Alongside this, we're putting the whole suite through final stability and reliability testing.

Stage 8 | In Testing (Optional Add-On)

Experimental AI Photo Protection

An optional tool that adds subtle, near-invisible changes to your images to make them harder for AI systems to learn from, plus a one-click way to strip hidden location and camera data. We're upfront that this is not a guarantee — heavy re-compression by some sites can weaken it — so it stays clearly marked as experimental while we keep refining it.

Stage 7 | Finished

Unified Desktop App & Licensing

Brought every tool together into one clean, easy-to-navigate desktop app with a simple sidebar, and built the licensing system so verified owners are recognized automatically each time they open it — tied to their machine so a key can't be casually shared.

Stage 6 | Finished

One-Click Hardening & Live Privacy Score

Added a single button that applies our recommended privacy and security settings in one pass (creating a safety restore point first), along with a live Privacy Score that reads your PC's actual settings to show exactly what's protected and what still needs attention.

Stage 5 | Finished

Active Security & Hardware Privacy

Finished the controls that run built-in Windows virus scans, switch on advanced ransomware and exploit protection, and fully lock down your PC's location tracking — all from one place, without digging through Windows settings.

Stage 4 | Finished

Network Boundary Control & Country Blocking

Completed the firewall engine that blocks all incoming and outgoing traffic to and from countries you choose, paired with a live connection monitor and an emergency one-click internet cut-off — with an easy way to reconnect.

Stage 3 | Finished

AI Endpoint Blackwall

Built and tested the system that cuts your PC off from major AI services at the network level. You can block everything at once or pick specific providers, and restore full access at any time.

Stage 2 | Finished

Assistant & Telemetry Removal Engine

Finished the cleanup engine that removes built-in assistants like Copilot, Recall, and Cortana and shuts off the background services and scheduled tasks that quietly report your usage back to Microsoft. Changes are reversible, and a restore point is created before anything runs.

Stage 1 | Finished

System Architecture & Performance Design

Designed the suite around a clean split between the interface and the system engine, with every heavy task running quietly in the background so your PC stays responsive and never freezes while it works.
